Job Summary
PacifiCorp is seeking a skilled Journeyman Lineman to join our team in Preston, Idaho. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical transmission and distribution systems, including overhead and underground lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical transmission and distribution systems, including overhead and underground lines.
- Operate line trucks, aerial boom, lifts, and wire pulling equipment to construct, repair, or maintain line equipment.
- Perform pole climbing, hot sticking, and working out of truck mounted bucket lifts.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Journeyman Lineman experience with completion of a formal training program.
- Must meet examining board review of skills and experience and pass testing through Rocky Mountain Power.
- Candidate must have hot stick training and experience.
- Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
