Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for B2B customer portfolio management matters
- Forge and nurture a strong, long-term customer relationship
- Engage in negotiations and finalize deals to maximize profits
- Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of progress on periodic initiatives
- Grow existing clientele and determine ways to meet the sales target
- Monitor and report on key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales performance, yearly projection)
- Create reports on account activity
- Collaborate with the sales staff to identify and maximize opportunities within the region
- Recruit, train, organize, mentor, and manage sales personnel to meet sales goals
- Uphold relationships with existing B2B customers by conducting regular visits, recognizing their needs, and recognizing new market possibilities
- Keep up-to-date in the industry by attending educational activities, conferences, and workshops; reading industry publications; and establishing personal and professional networks
- Participate in events and conferences that may necessitate travel
