The Director, Compensation & HR Systems is responsible for providing expertise and management for the compensation, human resources information systems, and payroll functions for the company. The Director, Compensation & HR Systems is a strategic yet hands on role within the organization responsible for managing the people, systems and processes related to the function. This role requires an ability to make complex business decisions for the organization. Internally, the Director, Compensation & HR Systems interacts with associates in all areas of the company including human resources, corporate finance, plant management and executive level individuals. The Director, Compensation & HR Systems is expected to develop solid working relationships with these areas to strengthen the compensation and human resources efforts throughout PCA. Externally, the Director, Compensation & HR Systems will oversee the vendor relationships with Ceridian, the payroll and HRIS system provider; HRSoft, the compensation system vendor; Aon Hewitt; Morgan Stanley; individual brokers; and other PCA contracted service providers.
Principle Accountabilities :
Provide leadership and guidance to the compensation team (1 manager and 3 professionals) in the administration of the company's compensation programs. This includes all aspects from system set-up and design; communication development; and end user training.
Provide leadership and guidance to the HRIS team (1 manager and 3 professionals) in the effective design and management of the human resource systems which provide employee self-service, manager approval workflows, recruiting, onboarding, and training.
Provide leadership and guidance to the payroll team (1 manager and 6 professionals) in the processing of the company's weekly decentralized hourly payroll and semi-monthly centralized salaried payroll.
Ensure quarterly and annual filings and reporting requirements are executed with accuracy and are filed timely for all jurisdictions.
