BasicQualifications :

Satisfactory completion of background checkand drug screen.
Applicants will be required to have one of thefollowing :
- A diploma from a technical college in industrial electrical orinstrument maintenance.
- Three years of service in the field of electrical orinstrument maintenance (General electrical, instruments, DCSsystems, PLC systems, AC / DC drive systems, LV / MV starters, powerdistribution systems)
- Three years of military service in the field ofelectrical or instrument maintenance (General electrical,instruments, DCS systems, PLC systems, AC / DC drive systems, LV / MVstarters, power distribution systems)
- Completed acomparable certified E&I Maintenance ApprenticeProgram.
Tests and BoardInterview :
Those selected to gothrough the PCA hiring process will be asked to take a series offive written tests and take part in a structured boardinterview.
Thefive written tests are all timed andinvolve :

PrincipleAccountabilities :
Workwith key mechanical, electrical, and process personnel to supportdaily and monthly maintenance outages as well as annual outagejobs.
Work with electrical maintenance / engineering andoperations personnel to complete maintenance and capitalprojects.
Complete necessary programs and training, asindicated in the Electrical Maintenance ApprenticeProgram.
Supports the Mills goals for safety,environmental, and other areas of need.
Utilize predictive andpreventative electrical programs to identify and correct equipmentissues.
Complete assigned work for daily, monthly, andannual outages.
Effectively complete assigned jobs forbest result at lowest cost.
Look for opportunities tosolve issues, reduce cost, and improveperformance.
Performs otherresponsibilities as needed.
PreferredQualifications
Pulp & Paperindustry experience preferred.
