We are seekingapplicants for Helpers for OFF SHIFTS in our Hexacomb division inArlington, TX.
Responsibilities :
Must be committed toworking safely, following the company rules and helping identifyopportunities for a safer workplace foreveryone.
The work for thisposition includes feeding material into machines, stacking finishedproduct, glue / assembly of paper products, banding pallets, andshrink-wrapping for shipment.
Must be able to work as part of ateam in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal ofincreasing productivity and decreasing downtime andwaste. Disruptive behavior is nottolerated.
Assume activerole in overall plant and facilities-related work. Positionrequires assisting all jobs on the plantfloor.
Follow allcompany safety rules and lock-out tag-outprocedures.
Maintain shop andshop equipment per 5S Standards.
Other duties asassigned.
May be requiredto stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12hours.
BasicQualifications :
High School Graduate orGED.
Be passionateabout maintaining a safe workenvironment.
Able to passpre-employment background and drugtest.
Must be able tostand, stoop, and bend.
Must beable to work overtime and weekends asneeded.
Must beauthorized to work in the U.S.
PreferredQualifications :
Experience in a packaging or othermanufacturing environment is preferred.
Machine operator experience aplus.
Forkliftexperience a plus.
Knowledge, Skills &Abilities :
Must be willing to workclosely on a day-to-day basis with other productionpersonnel.
Ability to shareideas with others to solve problems of essentialimportance.
Excellentcommunication skills.
Thrive in across-functional team environment.
Work with a sense of urgency toreduce downtime of machines.
Have knowledge of Microsoftapplications such as Word, Excel, andAccess.
Strong writtenand verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment and handle multiple requestssimultaneously.

Pay andBenefits :
Pay range $19.45 with a differentialfor 2nd $0.25 for 3rd $0.35
