Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist for our 3rd shift production team in New Oxford, PA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines, including flexographic printing equipment, to produce corrugated packaging materials. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexographic printing equipment accurately
- Inspect dies before and after runs to identify any necessary repairs
- Monitor box quality, including size, print, and liner integrity
- Maximize equipment utilization by optimizing speed and capacity
- Collaborate with operators and other teams to achieve production goals
- Complete reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Identify and report any food safety risks or concerns
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Ability to work overtime on short notice, both during the week and weekends
- Stable work history and authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with flexographic printing equipment
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
