About The Role
The HR Generalist will support Packsize and the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations by carrying out a variety of daily HR processes and tasks. They will help Packsize plan, organize and administer important business processes in functional areas such as acquiring and onboarding team members, managing performance, collecting data, managing projects and compensation and benefits. This role requires a proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.

The salary range for this role is $67,300-76,100 however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.

What You'll Do
- Provide administrative support to HR team leaders
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Facilitate the onboarding of new team members, bridging the space between applicant to employment, coordinate and deliver New Employee Orientation and tour locally
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures and ensure understanding and compliance
- Help in resolving employee conflicts and addressing performance issues
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems
- Generate HR reports and analyze data to support decision-making
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Generalist
- Previous experience working with HRIS and/or applicant tracking systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical with great interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work with strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- General knowledge of employment law and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Work performed in a typical office environment
- Ability to sit and concentrate for long periods of time, even with interruptions
- May be required to travel from time to time
