About the Role:
The Product Quality Engineer will ensure that the products produced meet all quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction, ensuring that procedures and processes are adhering to standard industry standards. This person will design, create, and execute manual and automated test cases, while using appropriate quality assurance techniques and ensuring that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved. They will lead initiatives for better process development and continuous improvement activities by way of high throughput data, interpretive testing and modeling. Work to build a strong partnership with all departments responsible for sustaining product development and manufacturing through integrative risk management, data analysis / interpretation, engineering / scientific first principles and cross training. Plan, control and assure product and process quality through implementation of quality principles, which include material control, acceptance sampling and measurement systems

What You’ll Do:
- Designing and executing tests on prototype products to evaluate their functionality.
- Building test setups, conducting tests according to specifications, analyzing data, documenting results, and collaborating with engineers to address any design flaws found during testing
- Assisting Design engineers with design and development of new concepts and module hardening
- Assisting manufacturing engineers in implementation of new product lines
- Supporting engineering in managing aspects of the Quality System
- Reviewing internal and external design and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Act as liaison between departments to complete necessary project tasks
- Collaborate with global teams and external partners to identify and validate technology solutions
- Manage projects effectively, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- Associate's degree in a related engineering field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Hands-on experience in mechanical workshops and using CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
- Strong skills in other business software including MS Office applications
- Creative mindset with excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in machine prototyping
- Knowledge of IoT, sensors, microcontrollers, or other mechatronics/electronics
