As an R&D Program Manager, you will be working with the Product Management team to coordinate the execution of project plans between Packsize departments and organizations.

R&D Project Manager
Job Summary:
As an R&D Program Manager, you will be working with the Product Management team to coordinate the execution of project plans between Packsize departments and organizations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and publish project plans
- Manage and drive to completion product release checklists
- Coordinate with Project Manager over hardware projects
- Be the voice of Product Management and ensure visibility of project status
- Monitor project progress including the following:
- Ensure that burn downs are accurate
- Ensure that blockers are communicated
- Ensure there is active effort to resolve blockers
- Engender positive relationships with all other departments in the organization
- Ensure adherence to research and development processes
- Monitor processes and recommend improvements as necessary
- Manage shared documents and the repository
- Write project status executive summaries
- Escalate issues and monitor resolutions
- Coordinate efforts between ancillary departments as needed
- Help create and then manage other process checklists as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- 1 – 2 years’ previous project management experience needed
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products needed
- Must be skilled at planning and follow through
- Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
- Must be able to motivate people to action
- Must have the ability to see the “big picture” as well as be detailed oriented
- Must be able to effectively set appropriate project expectations and escalate issues when the need arises
