Your expertise will help cultivate a proactive safety culture, ensuring every team member operates in compliance with WMATA guidelines and OSHA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs tailored to each project’s unique needs.
- Conduct routine site inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations using SiteDocs and Safety Culture platforms.
- Advocate continuous improvement in safety protocols by analyzing data, trends, and emerging best practices.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and guidance to project teams, ensuring all activities meet strict safety criteria.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards, safety management systems, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and maintain a zero-incident mindset.
- Excellent communication abilities, including the capacity to deliver clear training sessions and safety briefings.
