JOB SUMMARY
Primary function of the job is to facilitate evidence based, cognitive behavioral classes.
DIRECT REPORT – Line of Authority
· Facilitator reports to the Administrator of Cognitive-Behavioral Group Services or designee
· Facilitator works with clients in a team context
QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)
Education
· Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Experience
· Preferred: two to four years directly related experience in an evidence-based work environment
· Preferred formal training/certification as a facilitator and/or professional experience facilitating groups with a justice-involved population
Knowledge (Working, General, Thorough, Comprehensive)
· Working knowledge of standard computer software programs
· Thorough knowledge of confidentiality principles
· Working knowledge of evidence based practice
Skills/Abilities
· Ability to effectively facilitate group process in alignment with agency policy
· Advanced verbal skills, both written and oral.
· Ability to manage tasks and control time productivity
· Ability to complete detail specific tasks and assignments.
Duties and Responsibilities
EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICES
Facilitators will work in an evidence based practice environment and secure certifications in evidence based practice curricula, IRAS and other evidence based assessments/tools as required.
Group Facilitation
Facilitators will engage participants in evidence based, cognitive behavioral classes which target the reduction of criminogenic risk/need.
Follow Up, Collaboration and CQI
Facilitators will work in partnership with case managers and other agency partners to enhance the process of reducing participant risk. Facilitators will maintain regular communication with referral sources in alignment with agency policy. The ability to work with a team is critical to facilitator success. In order to maintain fidelity to the curriculum models, facilitators will participate in CQI in alignment with agency policy.
Additional duties may be assigned by your supervisor.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
