Salary Range: $20.00 to $24.00 an hour

PACT MSO has a busy Internal Medicine Group with multiple locations seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant Float. The positions are located in West Haven, New Haven, Orange, Milford and Guilford and will be traveling to each location as needed. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with rotating Saturday mornings.
This position supports a department, provider, or manager by performing duties as directed.
Essential Functions - Medical Administrative Assistant
- Assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, follow up, etc.
- Responsible for schedule utilization, cancelation and wait list management
- Coordinates tests, procedures, and lab appointments for patients
- Provide patients with information and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule and coordinate meetings
- Assist with all patient portal questions
- Attend meetings as required by management
- Communicate information appropriately, accurately, and timely
- Create and maintain reports and distributes to appropriate staff and management
- Identify and communicate inconsistencies of information in reports to appropriate staff

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
