Pactiv Bedford Park is a leading Extrusion/Injection Molding facility that produces plates, straws, cutlery, and wrapped cutlery kits for the food service industry. Built in 1974, our facility has 195,000 total square footage. We host 90 machines including Injection Molding, Extrusion, and Automated Robotic instruments. We produce approximately 75 million pounds annually and over 400,000 SKUs. - Demonstrate and maintain the ability to meet required production output on a consistent basis by using established standard line conditions.
Demonstrated and maintain the ability to respond and correct any out of spec conditions.
Know each piece of equipment (downstream) and its purpose
Oversee production personnel packing on equipment
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in machine operating or maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Preferred experience: 1 year machine operating or maintenance within injection molding
- Understanding of extruder temperature zones, valves and cooling system and tooling.
Experience in flexographic printing is helpful
