Responsibilities That Keep the Wheels Turning:
- Analyze and resolve mechanical and electrical issues for plant machinery.
- Lead installations and refurbishments of operational equipment, managing parts inventory.
- Interpret blueprints and diagrams, diagnosing machinery faults.
- Isolate, dismantle, repair, and test equipment issues.
- Revitalize electrical systems by replacing defective components.
- Develop customized machinery for testing and operational use.
- Maintain machinery functionality through cleaning and lubrication.
- Administer significant electrical repairs, manage new installations, and test circuitry integrity.
- Utilize precision tools and instruments to ensure equipment accuracy.
- Comply with state and local codes for electrical work.
- Conduct minor machining and welding repairs as required.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, such as lock-out/tag-out.
- Engage in carpentry, plumbing, painting as needed for projects.
- Report issues to Plant Engineer and Shift Supervisor.
- Upgrade lighting and replace components such as bulbs and ballast.
- Maintain a neat workspace.
- Tackle tasks that promote operational excellence.
Here Are the Highlights of What We Need:
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma is a must, additional engineering certification adds value.
- Gain hands-on experience of at least 1-2 years in a maintenance role.
