The Macon plant was built in 1967. It manufactures egg cartons, lunch trays, and shake trays and employers over 200 employees.

The **Maintenance Supervisor **is responsible for providing leadership for the maintenance department groups in performing work safely to achieve the plant objectives in safety, quality, OEE, PEPS and budget.
- Monitors and supports safe work practices in the department.
- Ensures the team is completing the planned work task as scheduled on all equipment.
- Participates in problem solving activities as required to achieve plant performance.
- Leads the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as outlined for downtime events.
- Tracks and manages follow up work orders to achieve a timely resolution to repairs.
- Manages the time keeping records for all areas of responsibility.
- Participates in Tier 0,1 and 2 meetings.
- Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
- Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
- Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
- Maintains excellent safety record.
- Maintains excellent attendance record.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical certification/Associates/BA in a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
- At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.
- At least three (3) years of** leadership experience in the maintenance field**.
- Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Experience with 6S, A3 and other continuous improvement tools.
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection and SAP experience preferred.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Strategic planning.
- Able to prioritize work.
- Demonstrate initiative in addressing and/or resolving repair issues.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to stand and/kneel frequently, lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be available on an on-call basis.
