Do you have a knack for inspecting and diagnosing faulty equipment using everything from simple hammers and drills to complex precision instruments? Can you reverse disassembly processes and handle preventive maintenance like a seasoned expert?
Here’s what your duties will include:
- Detecting and repairing equipment problems using detailed guides and various tools.
- Executing preventive measures that keep everything from conveyor belts to power supplies in check.
- Using your welding skills for metal joints and ensuring fluid levels and drive belts are always operational.
- Tackling minor carpentry or plumbing tasks and maintaining general upkeep of machinery housing.
- Maintaining top-notch organization and safety standards in the workplace.
The kind of person we’re looking for:
- Someone who meets educational requirements with a High School diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' maintenance experience, with a strong mechanical acumen.
- It’s crucial you pass the Ramsay Mechanical Aptitude Test.
- Experience in machining and welding is advantageous.
- Comfort with blueprints and the ability to address mechanical, electrical, and electronic system issues independently.
- Good attendance and the drive to work autonomously.
- You can stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Flexible to work varied shifts, including some weekends and overtime.
Technical Skills & Equipment: HVAC, PLC programming, motor maintenance, hydraulics, and soldering, with usage of TIG Welders, Vertical Lathes, and Box Folding Machines.
