Comprehensive Compensation Package:
- Pay Rate: $26.50-$33.00/hr - Depending On Experience
Job Description:
- Read and Interpret Engineering models and drawings, dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Experience and knowledge of capabilities and processes of all machining good practice.
- Measuring metrology (use and calibration of measuring instruments)
- Experience and knowledge of Set-up and operation of manual lathes, mills, grinders.

Responsibilities
Process Analysis and Improvement
- Conduct detailed time studies, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis to understand current workflows and identify bottlenecks.
- Use Lean Six Sigma techniques (e.g., DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen) to develop improvement plans.
- Collaborate with department leaders to implement process changes that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Project Management
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from inception through completion.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure alignment with manufacturing goals and timelines.
- Document progress, changes, and improvements, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Employee Training and Development
- Conduct hands-on training and workshops on Lean principles, Six Sigma tools, and process improvements.
- Develop training materials and resources to support ongoing employee development in continuous improvement.
- Mentor and coach team members to foster an environment of ownership and proactive problem-solving.
Continuous Improvement Culture
- Act as a champion for continuous improvement, encouraging team members at all levels to participate in process enhancements.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of best practices in manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through regular engagement with employees, workshops, and team meetings.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and time-study methodologies.
- Proven experience in leading and managing projects focused on process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to train and influence teams.
