Responsibilities
Hybrid position with 1 day a week in the Lake Forest office. Possibility for fully remote. DESCRIPTION:
- Support the Paper/Packaging and Data Analytics teams.
- Assist with bid analysis and make recommendations on award scenarios.
- Provide spend analysis and insights that drive operational improvement and cost savings.
- Report on procurement key performance indicators (KPI’s).
- Maintain monthly/quarterly pricing for pulp and recovered fiber products
- Play an integral role in procurement data governance to help pave the way our organization works with data over the next 1-5 years.
- Create procurement roadmaps based on data driven business journey
- Collaborate with category managers and leadership to develop standards for reporting on category information, including standard templates and data views.
- Maintain and assure data quality for internal use. Lead process improvement efforts to improve data quality and efficient execution.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or the equivalent in experience.
- 2-5 years of data analysis experience with an accounting/supply chain/business operations focus.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- Tableau and/or Power BI experience helpful
- Experience with managing large datasets and merging data from multiple databases.
- Expertise and familiarity with handling large datasets to analyze, draw conclusions and present viewpoints.
- Comfortable making recommendations around
- Ability to independently manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
