Responsibilities
Description of Job Duties / Qualifications:
The SAP Inventory Coordinator maintains inventory levels and accuracy. This position is responsible for reporting physical inventory & related document review. Position consists of monitoring & maintaining current Inventory levels systematically, including reconciling stock counts to SAP reports. Someone who is a confident PC user (SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)), production planning systems.
Works independently and maintains pace with manufacturing and logistics requirements.
- Process production orders as required, tracks confirmations for all shifts and investigates problems.
- Maintains data base: Performs Physical count of Inventory for Non poly, corrugate, Roll stock & Raw materials.
- Calculate the need for raw materials & it’s usage, inform the related departments in time to meet the delivery deadlines and the fullness of the production warehouse.
- Identify processes to find opportunities and make recommendations to optimize inventory levels, increase supply chain flexibility, preventive measures to reduce scrap/understock.
- Has understanding of SAP and LES in relation to manufacturing production orders, inventory controls and logistics functions.
- Daily management of Line-level administrative activities, including updating staged bins / RF within the designated timeframe handling shortages, mixed and missing items, pass down reporting and line transition activities between shifts where applicable.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Must work overtime as required
