Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a warrior-type personality to join our team.
  • This position is currently part-time but will transition to a full-time position in the future.
  • The NP will perform consultations to screen for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and will also have the opportunity to be cross-trained in our Clinical Specialist 1 or 4 roles.
  • The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical knowledge and demonstrate exceptional resilience and dedication in providing top-notch patient care.
  • We must credential you with our payers. This process takes approximately 12 weeks but we can start you immediately pending drug screening and background check results. One of our Physicians will have to review and co-sign your reports until you are fully credentialed

Consult Duties:

  • I lead the Consult Team (NP, MA, and US tech) in diagnosing PAD and deciding whether a revascularization procedure is needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations to screen for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
  • Perform detailed patient assessments, including medical history, risk factors, and physical examinations.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results to diagnose PAD accurately.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with PAD.
  • Educate patients and their families about PAD, including prevention, management, and treatment options.
  • From time to time, the NP may participate in marketing

CS1 Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining and monitoring vital signs & pedal pulses
  • Preparing the groin for access
  • Monitor access site, assuring hemostasis
  • Discharging the patient home
  • Documenting all information in our EMR.
  • Inventory and supply management

CS4 Responsibilities:

  • Procedure Room Circulator
  • Patient flow is running smoothly
  • Making sure the patient has followed all pre-procedure guidelines
  • Reviewing patient charts, labs, H&P
  • Dispensing medications
  • Documenting the procedure and building the report.
  • Handling patient complications
  • This position requires a high level of medical knowledge and experience.
  • Assisting the NP and US Tech with screening of PAD
  • Obtaining H&P and medication list
  • Performing ABIs, vital signs, blood draws
  • Wound care
  • Taking photos of any wounds
  • Completion of patient charting/documentation.
  • Report to the NP with findings

Schedule:

  • M-F, 8 -10hr shifts, Rotational Saturdays
  • Travel to our North Little Rock office 2X/month for consults
  • 100% outpatient position -- no hospital work, no call.

  • We currently do not offer paid holidays or paid time off. Our pay is at the 99th percentile for all positions in the locations that we are in. Higher pay has a far higher dollarized value than paid holidays or PTO does. Thus, we do not offer paid holidays or PTO -- we offer the highest pay around.
  • You may take up to 80 hours of UTO (unpaid time off).

Requirements:

  • 18-month minimum commitment
  • Certified Nurse Practitioners only
  • A customer service-oriented attitude, charisma, and excellent bedside manner.
  • Excellent documentation skills with great attention to detail.
  • Tech savviness - Experience with EMR systems and Google Workspace
  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • All employees are expected to perform as an integral part of the PADS team and to provide supplemental support as requested, required, or assigned.
  • Drug and background test required
