Printer Operation

• Printer in continuous operations when all quality and maintenance needs are met.

- Printing is the first priority followed by secondary tasks- warranty cards, cutting bracing material, cutting vinyl and other misc. tasks.

• Quality- keeping the highest level of quality during every set of prints by verifying correct colors, roughness, and alignment of the prints on each row of cores being produced. Purging, cleaning heads and UV lights, reprinting alignment on the table are all tasks that will need to be preformed to achieve our quality standards.

-Branding-look for branding during operation
-Color matching-verify that colors match our samples
-Alignment-Making sure the cores are lined up correctly
-Roughness-Verify we are on the higher end of the tolerance by inspecting at least one core per print cycle on each side.

• Maintenance- A variety of tasks must be performed to keep the printing equipment at its highest level of operation.

-Nozzle and White flood tests (Vanguard)-Performed and monitored daily. The results are dated and stored for future reference. If the tests are not consistent, the operator is to Clean and Purge then retest. With another failed test, notify a manger of the issue for further guidance.
-General Maintenance- All of the printers require different levels and intervals of cleaning and maintenance. See tasks and frequency for each piece of equipment listed on the individual printer.
