Description
The IT Specialist provides daily point of contact assistance to employees and supports the IT department in setting up, troubleshooting and maintaining systems company-wide as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, network connectivity, and applications.
- Set up and upgrade systems
- Provide technical support to end-users
- Provide backup assistance to our Network Administrator
- Monitor automated workflows
- Assist with licensing maintenance
- Assist with cyber security initiatives.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Ability to work 25 hours per week, M – F days. Our hybrid schedule is approximately 75% in office to start. (schedule is flexible for the right candidate).
- Technical experience including proficiency in common operating systems, understanding of common software applications, knowledge of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (professional, active listener, able to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users)
- Excellent customer service skills (patience, positive attitude, team player)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
