A day in the life:
- Acknowledge, greet, and engage with guests by providing quality service.
- Receive guest orders and package finished products with presentation and care.
- Create and serve simple beverage items such as teas, coffees, and specialty drinks.
- Eloquently describe menu items, ingredients, and allergy information.
- Maintain and replenish items for business needs.
- Maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment.
- Follow opening and closing checklists.
- Assist other team members in other roles and in baking pastries as needed.
What you bring to the table:
- Have a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Be able to commit full-time/part-time.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Certified knowledge of Food Handling/Food Safety (Paid program complete within 30 days).
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Capacity to learn and operate the Point of Sale system.
- Be able to think on your feet and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Weekend and afternoon availability is important.
