What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll/Accounting Clerk position at Padgett Business Services?

A small but very busy accounting firm is seeking a Payroll and Accounting Clerk.
Your duties will include assisting with:
- Processing payroll for 80 clients in Washington and Idaho
- Calculating and submitting garnishment and tax payments
- Processing monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll reports
- Submitting monthly sales/excise tax returns
- Data entry and preparation of financial statements
We would like you to have the following skills:
- 6 months of payroll/accounting experience or education
- 6 months of data entry experience
- 6 months of Microsoft Excel experience
- Ability to multi-task and pay attention to small details
- Ability to deal with the public in a polite and professional manner
