What are the responsibilities and job description for the WHEELCHAIR VAN DRIVER - PART TIME position at Pafford?
Responsibilities:
- Drivers will respond to operation and dispatch requests and use the necessary tools, maps and addresses to efficiently transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.
- Clearly document trip information details and adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Take pride in maintaining a safe and clean vehicle environment for patients, complete the regular mechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
- Use appropriate communication methods including standard radio transmission codes to effectively respond and route patients and comply with the company’s information security standards.
- Drivers will operate transportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchair as well as be able to use protective personal equipment and manage disposal of supplies as necessary.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow drivers and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- State Driver’s License
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- CPR card
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
