What are the responsibilities and job description for the Express Service Technician position at Pag Cdjr Ln Llc?
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires, and battery testing
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Makes accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle
- Perform various Express Service repairs and maintenance such as brake pad replacement, alignments, Wynns flushes, basic tune-ups, shocks & struts, hoses, wheel bearings, and simple diagnostic work, and other entry-level repairs approved by service management.
- Utilizes product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
- Takes care to ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them in the same condition or better than when brought in
- Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
- Checks tire pressure and add air if needed.
- Keep the shop area neat and clean.
- operators all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Reports any safety-related issues immediately to management
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of new technologies and practice
- Other tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Automotive Technical School Certifications Preferred
- Previous Experience Highly Preferred
- Apprenticeship experience a plus
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have basic tools
