Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and assist them with inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving any issues that arise.
- Engage in retail sales activities, including upselling products and conducting product demonstrations to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain an organized front end area, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and displays are appealing.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
- Experience with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Proven cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience.
- Retail sales experience is a plus, particularly in upselling products and conducting product demos.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and cash management.
