What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tough-as-Nails Paralegal for High-Performance Family Law Firm position at Page & Cook, PC?
We are not your average Johnson City law firm — and we’re not looking for your average paralegal.
We’re a high-powered, no-excuses family law firm with a reputation for winning. Our clients are going through some of the hardest battles of their lives, and they count on us to show up strong, smart, and relentless. That means we only want people who are wired the same way. If you’re calm under pressure, sharp with details, and thrive on getting results — we want you on our team.
We Win. Do You?
This is NOT easy work. It’s fast! It’s intense! It’s emotional! It’s also deeply meaningful and highly rewarding. If you’ve got the heart of a fighter, the brain of a strategist, and the drive of a closer — we’ve got a place for you.

- You’re tough, focused, and don't take things personally.
- You bring energy, grit, and a detailed focus to a fast-paced team.
- You know your way around pleadings, deadlines, and court systems.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, and professional communications for our attorneys to review so that our clients win cases.
- Managing calendars, scheduling, court filings, and correspondence like a machine.
- Supporting attorneys in depositions, mediations, trial preparation, and occasionally, at trial.
- Taking initiative on daily administrative and legal tasks.
- Being a confident, helpful, and empathetic voice for clients when they need it most.
What We’re Looking For:
- Significant private law firm experience OR a recent paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Strong command of Microsoft Word and other legal tools.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills — written and verbal.
- A knowledge of local court systems and procedures.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong team-player mentality.
- Unshakeable integrity / Highest of ethical standards.
What We Offer:
- No salary caps – your value is rewarded.
- Bonuses overtime pay for those who go above and beyond.
- Health and vision insurance.
