Are you a motivated, detail-oriented individual looking to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing business? We are seeking an Associate in Corporate Development to support our strategic initiatives and contribute to our ongoing success.
In this exciting role, you will work in a small corporate strategy team alongside senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive key business development projects, identify new opportunities for growth, and enhance operational efficiencies. As part of a leading manufacturer in the region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business strategy and advancing our market position.
Main duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Supports the identification and assessment of potential mergers and acquisitions, including financial analysis, presentation creation, and conducting thorough due diligence.
- Builds and updates detailed financial models and valuation assessments to evaluate prospective acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
- Conducts research to analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for business expansion.
- Collaborates with both internal departments and external experts (such as legal, accounting, and consulting professionals) to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Aids in sourcing new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Prepares concise and informative reports and presentations for senior management, maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Works cross-functionally with teams like finance, legal, and operations to ensure cohesive and efficient execution of corporate development projects.
Please note that this role requires an occasional presence in-office, close to Hartford, CT. Ideally, 4 days/ week.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 2 years in Investment Banking, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a HYBRID schedule, with the office based close to Hartford, CT.
Job Offer
- $ 150,000 to $ 160,000 base salary
