Our client for the Senior Director PMO (Project Management Office) is a fast-growing infrastructure company. This organization is in high growth mode and seeking a proven Project Management leader to grow the team and drive their project management office.
The Senior Director PMO (Project Management Office) will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a diverse portfolio of related projects across various departments while creating a team that delivers a repeatable, scalable project platform aligned with our business objectives. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of project management methodologies, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget ultimately driving quick and agile execution. The Sr. Director PMO must have a background in infrastructure, construction, EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) or related.
Job Description
- Develop and implement project management policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent execution and alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Allocate resources, monitor progress, and manage budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Identify and mitigate risks across projects, ensuring proactive risk management strategies are in place.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the project management team.
- Serve as a key liaison between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project reviews and assessments to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Utilize project management tools and systems to streamline processes and enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in project management.
The Successful Applicant
What's on Offer
Base salary $150,000 - $185,000 depending on experience, bonus, full benefits, 401K, vacation, tuition reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.
