Description
The Head of Operations (HoO) will be a key executive team member, responsible for designing and leading the bank's operations across two phases:
Develop and implement core operational strategies, systems, and processes to launch the bank.
Oversee IT setup, onboarding, back-office infrastructure, and compliance frameworks.
Work closely with key leaders (MD, CTO, Risk & Compliance) to ensure operational readiness.
Build relationships with vendors, regulators, and service providers.
Lead day-to-day operations focused on wholesale banknote and FX payments.
Ensure smooth transaction processing, client services, and scalable operations.
Drive continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Ensuring full regulatory compliance (Connecticut state laws, FRBNY standards).
Overseeing outsourcing, risk management, and operational procedures.
Collaborating with the CTO to implement scalable tech solutions and drive innovation.
Setting and tracking KPIs, improving service delivery and cost efficiency.
Hiring and leading a high-performing operations team.
Contributing to the strategic direction and long-term growth of the bank
Profile

Proven senior operations experience in banking or financial services, preferably regulated environments.

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Phase 1 - Build the Bank:
