Real estate finance client seeking Legal CounselOpportunity for long term growth, hybrid position in NYCAbout Our ClientReal estate finance client.Job DescriptionThe Counsel will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to : Provide legal support for the Company's mortgage warehouse and repurchase facilities and its secured and unsecured credit facilities, and the Company's treasury function generally;Provide legal advice and consultation focused on a variety of legal issues relating to the commercial real estate industry, including bridge and mezzanine financing, and loan servicing;Work on CRE commercial loan obligation securitizations (and similar vehicles);Provide guidance and advice to various business units within the Company;Manage internal business relationships; andGeneral corporate compliance and legal assistance, including but not limited to drafting and review of contracts and corporate resolutions, including those related to the Company's joint ventures and the general management of the Company's corporate structureThe Successful ApplicantJ.D. with strong academic credentials from an accredited law schoolAdmission to NY State Bar1-4 years of experience with structured finance transactions, mortgage warehouse facilities, CLOs, securitizations, including direct experience with coordinating closings gained at a top NYC law firmRelevant post-big law in-house experience also consideredExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to solve complex legal issuesAbility to work well cross-functionallyWhat's on OfferCompetitive base salaryBonusBenefitsGreat working environmentHybrid role in NYC#J-18808-Ljbffr
