Are you an experienced, results-driven professional looking to take on a leadership role in a fast-growing and dynamic manufacturing business? We are seeking a Manager of Corporate Development to spearhead strategic initiatives, drive business growth, and enhance operational efficiency.
In this critical role, you will lead a corporate strategy team and work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to execute key business development projects. You will identify new opportunities for expansion, drive mergers and acquisitions, and help shape the strategic direction of the company. As part of a leading manufacturer in the region, you will have a direct impact on the company's growth and market position.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification, assessment, and execution of mergers and acquisitions, including conducting financial analysis, preparing presentations, and managing comprehensive due diligence processes.
- Build and update complex financial models and valuation assessments to evaluate potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of corporate development projects.
- Drive the sourcing of new business opportunities aligned with the company's long-term strategic goals.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality reports and presentations for senior management, ensuring effective communication of key insights and recommendations.
- Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
This role requires occasional in-office presence near Hartford, CT (ideally 4 days a week).

Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 4 years in Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a HYBRID schedule, with the office based close to Hartford, CT.
Job Offer
- $ 170,000 to $ 180,000 base salary
- Performance related bonus scheme (Up to 10%)
