What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Driver - HVAC position at Page Mechanical Group Inc?
The Parts Driver will provide support to the HVAC and Plumbing field employees as well as assist with warehouse duties as necessary.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Material handling (loading and unloading).
- Use of pick-up trucks and trailers for pick-up and delivery of materials and parts to various job sites.
- Use of rough terrain and counterbalance forklifts and excavator.
- Assist projects team and technicians in delivering parts to job sites.
- Staging and prepping of materials in warehouse to take to job sites.
- Assist with warehouse cleaning / inventory.
- Opportunity to learn the industry and company operations with the goal of moving into a field position in HVAC or in plumbing.
- Minor building maintenance.
- Warehouse shipping and receiving.
- Basic mechanics starting and troubleshooting equipment (welders & generators).
- Any other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required.
- Valid / Current Drivers license with a clean driving record - REQUIRED
- Self-motivated with the potential to learn the industry.
- Ability to bend, lift (up to 70 lbs.), twist, stand.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and operate equipment for loading / unloading
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is a physically active role. The Parts Driver will need to be able to regularly push, lift, and pull heavy loads, climb, crouch, and maneuver around obstacles. Must also need to be able to sit and / or stand for extended periods of time.

This job operates in both an office and a field environment. Must be able to sit and / or stand for extended periods of time.
