Page Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. As part of our team, you will work closely with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving their functional abilities, enhancing independence, and promoting overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized therapy plans to address physical, cognitive, and emotional rehabilitation goals.
- Provide therapy interventions and adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, home exercises, and care instructions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to meet patient needs.
- Maintain a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida.
- Experience in subacute or skilled nursing rehabilitation settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
