Responsibilities The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to creatively solve problems from the conceptual stage through to completion on mid to large scale health projects; This position offers an extremely unique opportunity to work within a national healthcare design firm; The candidate will be working integrally with senior medical planning staff to realize plans for multimillion dollar hospital campuses as well as stand-alone clinics and outpatient facilities; Actively collaborate in the technical development of projects; Maintain communications with the client and consultants on project status, design intent, user group concerns and questions; Prepare design sketches of moderate to complex healthcare plans; Produce planning documents in support of Programming through Construction Document Design phases; Communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents; Evaluate design for code compliance and assist in plan check review and approvals; Coordinate with all other team members on project assignments; Collaborate with the design team and Owner to resolve and implement distinguished design concepts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; 8 years experience with large architecture project delivery; Minimum of 5 years’ experience programming and planning medical facilities from outpatient clinics to inpatient facilities; Must have the capacity to organize and run clinical end-user interface meetings in development of plans; Understanding of medical equipment for all types of clinical environments including surgery, imaging and critical care; Proficiency with general digital office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Outlook as well as specialty AEC industry tools like Revit and dRofus; Ability to work in a team environment with strong organizational and time management skills. #LI-EC1
