Responsibilities
- Provide on-site representation as requested by the Client and maintain Client satisfaction through the CA process.
- Write and submit to the Client and contractor, in a timely manner, a field observation report for each site visit.
- Ensure the building is being constructed in accordance with the design and specifications provided.
- Use technology and methodologies to create innovative approaches to building design.
- Consistently strive to improve the technical quality of work by staying abreast of new technologies, changes in building codes, and advances in the industry.
- Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents, and ensure integrated design approaches and solutions.
- Provide office support from the project team.
- Work independently without daily supervision.
- Attend and participate in all CA-related project meetings, chairing as appropriate.
- Tactfully represent Page through constant communications by means of phone, email, chat, and in person.
- Review and understand the contract, drawings, and specifications. Manage the submittal process, including RFI, product data, shop drawings, and closeout documentation; effectively problem-solve any RFI and submittal issues.
- Receive, route, monitor, and manage tasks to ensure work is completed in conformance with project contract terms.
- Assign to the Architect and/or EOR to review and approve submittals as appropriate.
- Actively and proactively communicate with Page stakeholders to ensure awareness of any issues that may arise.
- Facilitate communication between Page, client, and contractor stakeholders.
- Participate in the contract document revision process.
- Provide direction and mentoring to junior staff.
- Establish and maintain, through existing CA systems, a project filing system-Newforma, folders-incoming/outgoing.
- May be involved in other activities outside of CA, including business development initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is required.
- 15 years of experience in project management of design and/or construction teams representing Architecture and Engineering teams in the field is required.
- 10 years of experience in mission-critical or related fields is required.
- Technical skills to effectively review submittals are required. Ability to obtain security clearance.
Base Compensation: $80,000-$120,000 per year (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
