Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has a Midwife opportunity with NYC Health Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is located on 135th Street in Manhattan and has been certified as a Baby-Friendly hospital by the World Health Organization. The OBGYN service has a 24-hour pain management service, with five birthing suites and a 17-bed inpatient unit. Harlem Hospital features a da Vinci Robot and a full GYN service, which includes minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, an active robotic surgical service, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. On average, the OBGYN service has 800 live births annually.The hospital maintains an academic affiliation withColumbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

- Direct clinical care to mothers and babies
- Care for underserved, high-risk patients
- Full Time - 40 hours per week
- American Midwifery Board Certification
- BLS and NRP Certification required
- At least 5 years' experience
- Experience in Centering Pregnancy Programs, required
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $127,308* - $169,744* based on 40-hour work week and years of state licensure.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $140,039** and $186,718**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
