What are the responsibilities and job description for the Immediate Opening - Prep/Line Cook - Full-Time, Medical, Dental, Vision Coverage position at Pahaska Tepee Resort?
We are looking for experienced cooks with hands on experience with breakfast, lunch and dinner to work under the supervision of our chef. This position involves sharing the line duties with one other person as well as working solo. Food presentation, cleanliness, hygiene, safe food handling and a great attitude are of utmost importance. Breakfast / lunch and Lunch / dinner line cook positions are available.
Duties include :
- Setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Good communication and organizational skills are a must as well being able to work as a team member.
