PAHI is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our newly formed footwear brand based in Portsmouth, NH.

Responsibilities:
- Play a lead role in building and implementing the finance modules within our ERP system (NetSuite)
- Manage the month-end close process, bank reconciliations, prepare cost reports, A/P, and G/L
- Ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual financials ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Support ongoing budgeting and forecasting procedures for each internal function
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and develop ongoing standards and procedures
- Generate and analyze detailed financial and operational reporting to support strategic decision-making (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, margin analysis)
- Assist with process improvement to help drive operational efficiency and profitability
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard corporate assets
- Hire/manage finance team with brand growth
- Work closely with senior management to plan and report on the overall business
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience with detailed knowledge in all areas of accounting and finance, preferably for a retailer or manufacturer
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (MBA or CPA is a plus but not required)
- Experience working with various ERP and/or Finance systems, NetSuite experience strongly preferred
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities, projects and staff simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn and a tendency to take ownership and accountability
- Capable of learning and training others in a “train the trainer” environment
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) is a must
- Advanced Excel skills are required
