Pharmacy Cashier / Technician (Part Time)

Pahrump Care Pharmacy an an independent pharmacy that has earned a great reputation over the past few years for providing excellent service to the community for their prescription needs. We go above and beyond to make sure our customers' needs are taken care of.

We are looking for a dependable and energetic individual to join our pharmacy team. Highschool diploma is required. No experience necessary.

This is a Part-Time Position for 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer phone calls.
• Receive prescriptions and check their validity.
• Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter prescription data into the computer system and ensure all information is complete and accurate
• Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
• Sort, stock, label medications and monitor inventory.
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards.
• Check expiry of medications in stock.
• Clean and organize the pharmacy workspace.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
