Summary:
The Slot Ambassador provides courteous and prompt guest service in a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Creates an atmosphere of excitement on the casino floor that is compelling to all internal and external guests.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Encourages new guests to enroll in the True Rewards club
Delivers information to guests explaining club functions, redeem points, promotions, offers, and benefits
Assist Casino Host in filling VIP Events, concerts, and shows
Ensures the gaming floor is clean and neat at all times
Coordinates jackpot pictures and complete required documentation for winnings
Provide information concerning property services and local destinations
Assist with tournaments and casino events as requested
Develops and maintains positive relationships with guests
Verify and accurately complete all monetary transactions
Understand company and departmental policies and procedures in order to provide consistent and accurate information to guests and employees
Comprehend and follow written and/or verbal instructions
Work under pressure with minimal errors and meet deadline
Maintain assigned shift/job requirements in conformance with company standards
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if it applies to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Prior work experience in a same or similar role or relevant transferrable skills in a similar environment preferred
Possess strong communication skills
Proven experience providing high level of guest service
Ability to conduct basic mathematical skills to calculate payouts and provide exact change
Access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States

Occasionally push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 30lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
