PAI is looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to provide one-on-one support to an adult with disabilities in their family home and in the community. Preference given to candidates with experience in de-escalation and managing behaviors.
Job Title: Individualized Home Supports Professional (Part-time)
Location: Saint Francis, MN
Hours: 8-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday(16 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $20/hour mileage reimbursement
Responsibilities:
- Engage in activities that promote independence, skill development, and community integration.
- Assist with personal cares and daily living skills.
- Provide transportation for client in your own vehicle for outings in the community.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- Proactively communicate with the support team, sharing updates, insights, and any concerns related to the individual's well-being and progress.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Current auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred)
- Must be comfortable performing personal cares
- HS diploma and 18 years of age
