The Regional Medical Director plays a pivotal role in upholding the organization's mission and core values by embodying, integrating, and managing the Healthcare Center's philosophy.
This position entails overseeing a minimum of fourteen patients per day, coordinating patient scheduling, monitoring medical charts, guiding healthcare staff, and troubleshooting as necessary to ensure exceptional patient care.
We are seeking an experienced family practice or internal medicine physician to join our team at an HIV primary care outpatient facility. As part of a dedicated staff committed to serving the city's underserved patient population, including the LGBTQ community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
Our esteemed client is a public health-focused organization boasting a network of services encompassing healthcare centers, pharmacies, and wellness clinics.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing a diverse patient caseload, prioritizing effective care delivery
- Coordinating patient schedules, ensuring seamless service provision
- Maintaining accurate medical records, driving informed decision-making
- Guiding healthcare staff, promoting high-quality patient care
- Troubleshooting as necessary, addressing emerging issues promptly
Requirements:
- Medical Board license MD/DO/RNP (State specific) in Internal/Family Medicine/Adult Gerontology/Infectious Disease
- Prior experience or interest in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient Primary Care setting
- Board certified or board eligible if you are a resident; H-1B visa holders encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications:
- PharmD, DNP, or DPA with a minimum of 10 years managing HIV patients in diverse settings
- Background in infectious diseases, public health, or related field
- Demonstrated expertise in HIV treatment and prevention protocols, strategies, and patient care
