BestMind Behavioral Health is in search of a compassionate, hard working Front Office Patient Coordinator seeking to make a positive impact at each patient encounter. Previous experience within a Behavioral Health or Primary Care clinic is preferred but we are willing to train.

The Front Office Patient Coordinator helps to facilitate the flow of patients scheduling, visiting, and inquiring in-person or on the telephone. Ensures a phenomenal patient experience with a ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to help both patients and fellow staff members.
Responsibilities Include
· Provides initial customer service to all patients including; but not limited to, greeting patients, scheduling and confirming patient appointments using a multi-line phone, responding to inquiries from patients and referral sources, performing data entry into the EHR system (AdvancedMD) for patient information, and creating patient files
· Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments accurately
· Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information including accurate insurance and eligibility information
· Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal information
· Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties and is able to display a level of empathy; answering patient questions and concerns
· Obtains revenue by recording and collecting patient charges; collecting co-pays and other payments from patients in person or over the telephone
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed
