What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Pain Clinc Management Group PLLC?
The receptionist handles customer inquiries on the phone and provides information and assistance to staff. This position is also responsible for computer support, photocopying, scanning, filing, mailing and other clerical duties to support the physician and staff members in a busy clinic office environment.
General Accountabilities
- Answer telephone and text messages to assist doctor's offices, pharmacies, insurance companies, imaging facilities and patients by responding to and/or referring inquiries to the appropriate staff
- Check voicemail/text messages and respond in a timely manner
- Efficiently and effectively responds to release of information requests
- Ensures availability of treatment information by scanning and filing documents in the electronic medical record
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Salary : $15 - $18
