About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursey for a Surgery Center located in Las Vegas, NV. Join our team and be part of a leading healthcare facility dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and innovative treatment options.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the surgery center
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
  • Prepare for and manage accreditation processes (joint commission)
  • Manage clinical staff : hiring, training, onboarding, performance reviews
  • Handle employee relations including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Create and manage staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient outcomes
  • Maintain records and documentation for audits and inspections
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance and performance improvement programs
  • Address patient concerns. Investigate and resolve complaints or incidents involving patient care, adverse events,

    • implement corrective actions

  • Maintain physical environment including cleanliness, safety, equipment maintenance
  • Oversee infection control policies and compliance
  • Ensure all clinical staff maintain licenses and certifications (ACLS, etc)
  • Manage inventory of supplies / meds / equipment
  • Collaborate with other department heads to streamline processes and enhance overall patient experience
  • Work closely with Administrator to optimize workflow, reduce inefficiencies, and budget

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Valid RN license in the state of Nevada
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations specific to ASC and best practices
