X-ray Tech

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in various imaging technologies.

Duties

• Perform C-ARM X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including C-ARM and other diagnostic radiology tools.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide diagnostic evaluations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures performed.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Stay updated with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques, including nuclear medicine and sonography.

Requirements

• Certification in Radiologic Technology or equivalent field is required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques.
• Experience in diagnostic radiology, urgent care, or emergency room settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with nuclear medicine and sonography is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to patient care and safety standards in all procedures performed.

Pay: $21.75 - $23.92 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
