Join our fully integrated multidisciplinary clinic, Pain Management and Rehabilitation PA, with over 20 years of experience in providing comprehensive care to patients with chronic disabling conditions. We are seeking a licensed/certified Athletic Trainer to work both as a Therapist and Clinical Assistant within our diverse and collaborative team.
Your Role
As an Athletic Trainer at our practice, you will play a dual role, offering hands-on therapeutic care and providing clinical support to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and other specialists, to deliver personalized treatment plans for patients suffering from chronic musculoskeletal and spine related pain, injuries, and other disabling conditions.
Therapist Role
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercise prescription, manual therapy, and patient education, to enhance physical function and manage pain.
- Assist in implementing onsite therapies such as physical therapy, traction, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and laser therapy.
- Work with the team to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
Clinical Assistant Role (Optional)
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with patient care, including preparation consultations for procedures, and equipment setup, assist in ultrasound and x-ray guided injections and surgical procedures and patient education.
- Support EMG and nerve conduction studies, ensuring optimal technique and results.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate with team members to adjust care plans as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training.
- State licensure (or eligibility for licensure in Delaware).
- Strong clinical skills, including therapeutic intervention and patient education.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary or integrative care setting is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
