We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Creative ArtsTeacher to join our education and events team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating young minds in art, science, and baking. This role requires effective communication skills, creativity in lesson planning, engaging personality, high-level of flexibility and positivity, and the ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and in a happy manner.
*Duties*
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Educate students in core subjects including art, science, and baking.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Serve as a team-player to support colleagues in various ways, including serving as an assistant educator or party host during classes or events.
- Communicate effectively with management and students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters learning and encourages student participation.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and performing skills.
*Requirements*
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Art, or Science preferred.
- Valid teaching certification or licensure for elementary education is preferred.
- Strong skills in childcare, communication, and classroom management are essential.
- Experience in mentoring or tutoring elementary-aged children is a plus.
- Ability to write clear lesson plans and communicate effectively with diverse groups of students.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students.
- A love and appreciation for childcare and learning.
- An ability to drive to various off-site locations as necessary.
- Clearance on related Background checks.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
